INHSU panel at the 2022 Australasian Viral Hepatitis Conference

INHSU was proud to organise a panel session at the Australian Viral Hepatitis Conference which took place from 29-31 May 2022. The panel focussed on the relationship between three organisations in Sydney that are working together to eliminate hepatitis C. The organisations were the latest to be featured in Connecting with Care, an INHSU film series that profiles innovative models of hepatitis C care from across the globe.

The film – featuring the innovative work and partnership between the Medically Supervised Injecting Centre (MSIC), NSW Users and AIDS Association (NUAA), and Kirketon Road Centre (KRC) – premiered at the conference. Following the premiere, the president of INHSU Jason Grebely chaired a panel discussion.

The panel featured spokespersons from the film including Greg Dore, Head, Viral Hepatitis Clinical Research Program, Kirby Institute, UNSW Sydney, and Infectious Diseases Physician, St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney, NSW; Charles Henderson, NSW Users and AIDS Association (NUAA), NSW; Marianne Jauncey, Uniting Sydney Medically Supervised Injecting Centre – Sydney MSIC, NSW (Virtual); and Will Wood, Uniting Sydney Medically Supervised Injecting Centre – Sydney MSIC, NSW (Virtual).
